Obituary
Deacon Alvin L. Wilson was a lifelong resident of Lowell, Florida. He was born on May 5, 1955 to Johnnie and Lillie Jean Wilson, the first of four children. He graduated from North Marion High School in 1973 and enlisted in the United States Air Force until 1977. Also, he received his A.A degree from Central Florida Community College. He loved God with all of his heart and loved people. We
often joked about how he knew everybody and if he didn’t how quick he would change that. Although he sometimes talked a little trash about his love for Florida State, Pittsburgh Steelers and him being the best P-Nut man in Marion County, he had a big heart and always did what he could to help anyone.
He was called home on Monday January 1, 2024 to be with our heavenly Father.
He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 43 years Shandra Wilson of Lowell, Florida; three children, Tyrell Wilson of Gainesville, Florida; Altrina Wilson of Monticello, Florida and Selena Wilson of Lowell, Florida; three grandchildren, Tyrell Wilson Jr, Tamaiya Wilson and Ranee Smith of Gainesville, Florida; Parents, Johnnie and Lillie Jean Wilson of Lowell, Florida; three siblings, Wilbert Wilson of Destrehan, Louisiana; Lyndia Wilson of Lowell, Florida and Darrel Wilson (Patricia) of Lowell, Florida; five sister-in-laws, Claudette Alexander (Clyde) of Madison, Florida; Bonita Fagin of Ruskin, Florida; Yvonne Stokes (Edward) of Ocala, Florida; Cathy Wilson of LaPlace, Louisiana and Fatricia Campbell (Jarrod) of Riverview, Florida; two brother-in-law, Kenneth Brooks (Anne) of Crystal River, Florida, Claude Brooks of Tampa, Florida and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and friends.
