Obituary

Beverly Ann (Waddy) Gilbert was born to the late, James Henry Waddy Sr. and Mary Ann Waddy on October 7, 1960 in Brooksville, Florida. She departed this earthly life on March 4, 2024 in Houston, Texas.

Beverly was a graduate of Hernando High School (Class of 1978). She was employed by Geico, where she later retired. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family.  Bev, as she was known by many, was a born-again Christian.  She was baptized at an early age, giving her life to Christ and sang his praises until her final days.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Henry Waddy Sr.; brother, James Henry Waddy II; grandparents, Elder Juanita Johnson and Deacon Leo Johnson, Sr., Rev. Lula Waddy and John H. Waddy.

Her love and memories will be cherished by her children, Brandon Fields of Dallas, Texas, Charles Duncan and his wife Tina of Dallas, Texas, Geralyn Sanders of Brooksville, Florida; grandchildren, Karma Singer, Elijah Singer, Christian Duncan, Camora Duncan, and Emeri Pritchett; mother, Mary Ann Waddy of Brooksville, Florida;  siblings, Carl Waddy and his wife Brandi of Atlanta, Georgia, Minister Dexter Waddy of Brooksville, Florida, LaSonya Scrivens of Inverness, Florida, Frichell Thompson of Atlanta, Georgia, Stacy Waddy, James Keith Waddy, Michael Waddy, Tamika Waddy, Joshua Waddy and Jordan Waddy all of Cleveland, Ohio; along with a host of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends and classmates.

Flowers- May Be received on Friday March 22, from 9am to 3pm at the J.T.Campbell Funeral Home and Cremation Services Macedonia Chapel 

Memorial Service is scheduled  for  Sunday March 24, 2024 , 3pm  at The Eastside House Of God 827 Twigg street Brooksville Florida 34601
