Bruce Bellamy was born on October 2, 1953 to the late Reverend Leroy Bellamy, Sr. and Priscilla Bellamy in Inverness, Florida.
Bruce was a dedicated and faithful role model to his family and community. He worked in the medical field as a licensed practical nurse. He accomplished many things throughout his lifetime and carried many roles. Bruce was a business owner, an author, actor and playwright. He also devoted his lifetime to community service. He coached and mentored many years in leagues all throughout the county.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Leroy Bellamy, Sr., his mother, Priscilla Bellamy; three brothers Curtis, Clarence (Delores, deceased) and James.
Those left to cherish his memories: his wife Gail Bellamy; his children, Felicia Bellamy, Lavelle Bellamy, Bruce Bellamy, Jr. and Ursula Bellamy; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers, Leroy Bellamy, Jr. (Earlene) of Orlando, FL; Randolph Bellamy (Gladys) of Inverness, FL; Lonnie Bellamy (Helena) of Woodbridge, VA and Gilbert Bellamy (Carneval) of Grand Prairie, TX; two sisters Nina Nash (James) of Wooster, OH and Lucille White (David, also gone on to glory) of Detroit, MI; one sister-in-law Roselle Bellamy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
