Delois McGriff was born December 11, 1926, to the late Roland and Isabel McMillan in Brooksville, Florida.
She professed her life to Christ at a young age and joined Saint Paul A.M.E. Methodist Church. She met her beloved, late husband Curley McGriff, Jr. in Coconut Grove, Florida. They spent many beautiful years together.
Delois was known to be an abundantly loving and caring woman. She often gave wholeheartedly extending help and support in care of others. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen making meals for her family and the community. She was well known for her soulful cooking. Delois was truly a gift from God, and she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
On Sunday, September 10, 2023, our dear Lord called Delois home. In her passing, she leaves to mourn her two sons: Ricky Bernard Singletary (wife Betty Anne) and Anthony Hayes Singletary (wife Evlyn). stepchildren: Curly Mae McGriff, Jean McGriff, Ingrid McGriff, Donna McGriff, and Curtis McGriff. grandchildren: Germaine Lewis, LaReina Singletary, Ricky Bernard Singletary Jr., Lafayette Singletary, Wartika Singletary, Richard Bryant, Nephresha Singletary, and Jabez Israel. Also, a host of Great-Grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, and an abundance of friends and neighbors to mourn her dearly.
