OBITUARY
Felecia graduated from Hernando High School, class of 1975, earned her Bachelor's Degree from Saint Leo College in Criminal Justice, and certification in Human Resource Management from Barry University.
She was a daughter, a sibling, a mother, a wife, and a grandmother. Felecia was preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Timmons Thomas, her grandparents Waiters and Cora Timmons, and her nephew Matthew Adam Thomas Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Douglas, Brooksville, FL; her son, Terrance Thomas of Brooksville; stepson, Lennie Douglas and granddaughters Sa'Nya of Jacksonville, FL, Charmaine of Cleveland, GA, her siblings, Marilyn (Pastor Willie) Thompson of Springhill, FL, James (Pamela) Thomas; Derrell Thomas, Matthew (Yolanda)Thomas, Melissa (Robert) West, and Viennessee Black (Sister/Cousin) all of Brooksville FL. A host of sorrowing nieces, nephews, cousins. Special friends, Dorothy Burnett of Baltimore, Maryland, Virgil Thomas, Orlando, FL, Emma Bunch of Spring Hill, FL Sheila Wilcox, and Sonya O'Banner both of Brooksville Fl. Special cousins Roxanne Williams, Johnny Wyatt, Annie Jo Timmons Capers, Tyrone Williams, Jacqueline Hart, and William Hicks. Her in-laws: Angelina Philanders (Brooksville), Joann Bennett (Brooksville, FL), Sheila Wilcox (Brooksville,FL), Alice D. Rawls (Brooksville, FL), Connie (Rev. Clarence) Green (Spring Hill, FL), Eddie Douglas (New Port Richey,), Carlos Douglas (Spring Hill, FL), and Wiyet Douglas Jr. (Gainesville,FL).
Felecia fought a courageous battle for the past three years, bearing many battle scars, seen and unseen that she did not complain of. Her strength was quite an inspiration, her love a lasting gift. After a long and brave fight with cancer, Felecia is now at peace, embraced by the arms of her mother in heaven. Though cancer challenged her body, it could never touch her soul. Felecia's light, laughter, and love remain eternally.
