Helen Goodiski

Our hearts are heavy to announce the unexpected passing of Helen Patricia Goodiski, 68, of Brooksville, Florida, formerly of Big Pine Key in the Florida Keys.  Helen was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, to the late Vincent S. Goodiski and Vernonica Hladney Goodiski.

Helen moved to Brooksville in 2018 after losing her home on Big Pine Key to Hurricane Irma.  She had lived in the Florida Keys for nearly 25 years, working an assortment of jobs, from waitress to cashier to assistant manager in various restaurants, all of which gave her the knowledge to run her own, extremely successful restaurant on Big Pine Key, The Cracked Egg Café, from which she retired after 14 years.

She leaves to mourn her passing two brothers, Steve Goodiski and Vincent Goodiski, and one sister, Mary Ann Goodiski, all of Champion, Pennsylvania, as well as many good friends.
