Obituary: Life & Legacy
Mr. Herbert William Myers was born on June 16, 1957, in Brooksville, Florida to the late James Christoper Myers and Beatrice Myers Carr. He attended K-5th schooling in the Hernando County Public School System. Upon completion of 5th grade his family moved to Trilby, Florida where he graduated from Pasco Comprehensive High School in Dade City, Florida. He enjoyed a variety of activities such as track and field where he ran the high and low hurdles and was on the 4X100 relay team. He was very talented in the musical field, where he played the trombone, tuba, and trumpet in the marching band where he attended high school. He also taught himself how to play the drums, guitar, and keyboard. His wife Sandra Myers preceded him in death. He leaves behind 5 brothers John Brown Sr. (Mila Brown) of Hephzibah, GA; Harold Brown (Jennifer Brown) of Trilby, FL; Frederick Cohen (Tina Cohen) of Clearwater, FL; Calvin Myers of Tampa, FLand Marvin Myers (Monique Myers) of Wesley Chapel, FL and two sisters Betty Starling (Darrell Starling) of Valrico, FL; Louis Prichard of West Palm Beach, FL and a host of nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind close friends Jesse; Shirley; and Regina. He was a hard worker and man with a good heart, who would help anybody in need. Herbert William Myers departed this life on Thursday, July 31st, 2025, at the home of his close friend Jesse.
Flowers- May be received at the J.T. Campbell Funeral Home on Friday August 8th, from 9am to 2pm
Viewing /Wake- will be held from 5pm to 7pm at the J.T Campbell Funeral Home
