Jack Hehenberger, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away on December 15th, 2023 at the age of 65 in Brooksville, Florida. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well-lived.
Born on December 19th, 1957 in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Jack was the son of Robert (Doc) and Joan Hehenberger. He grew up with a passion for the water, specifically fishing. Throughout his life, you could find Jack cruising the Gulf from Anna Maria to Captiva in pursuit of kingfish, tarpon and everything in between.
Jack was a devoted family man. He met his soul mate, Holly Fine Hehenberger in high school, and they embarked on a beautiful journey together. Their love was a shining example of commitment and unwavering support. Jack was a loving father to his 4 children; Stewart, Kyle, Sean, and Casey. Jack was most proud and excited for his life as a grandfather. Kendall, Cobe, Finn, Harper, Rowan, Avery and Gray will always affectionally refer to him as “Pop”.
Jack had a passion for life that was contagious. He had an infectious smile and warm, welcoming presence that made everyone feel at ease in his company. Jack was known for remarkable stories, and they would get better each time he told one. Jack’s laughter was infectious, and his joy for life was felt by all who knew him.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Holly Fine Hehenberger, sons Stewart, Kyle and Sean Hehenberger, daughter Casey Hehenberger, daughters in law Kristine, Stacia and Jennifer Hehenberger, grandsons Cobe, Finn, and Gray Hehenberger, granddaughters Kendall Volin, Harper and Avery Seufert, and Rowan Hehenberger, sisters Debbie and Tamra Hehenberger.
Jack’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will forever be cherished, and his spirit will live on through the countless lives he has influenced.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on January 13th, 2024, at Jack and Holly’s home at 11453 Canopy Oaks Road, Brooksville, FL 34601 beginning at 2PM.
