Jakobe Lockley

Jakobe Jaquan Lockley, 24, was born on January 6, 2001, to Felicia Bellamy and Eric Lockley. On June 28, 2025, the Lord saw fit to pluck from His garden another beautiful rose. “Come home, my child, and I will give you rest.”

Jakobe was born and raised in Citrus County, Florida, and attended Citrus County Schools. He was known for his love of family, his loyal friendships, his passion for the Florida Gators, and his competitive spirit when playing tonk. Jakobe's presence brought light and laughter to those around him, and his memory will forever be cherished.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Bruce Bellamy and Vickie “Granny” Edwards.

Jakobe leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life: his devoted mother, Felicia Bellamy, and his father, Eric Lockley; his loving grandmothers, Elaine Thomas (Greg) and Gail Bellamy; two brothers, Henry Ford (Kayliegh) and Zantrell Collins; and two sisters, Gabriella Menendez and Ieshia Jenkins. He was a proud uncle to three precious nieces, Kayani, Reina, and Gianna, and one cherished nephew, Ezekiel. He also leaves behind two special uncles, Bruce and Issac; two dear aunties, Lavelle and Ursula; and special cousins, Myiesha, Marquita, Henrekae (Nukie), Malakhi, and Katisha. Jakobe will also be remembered fondly by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a circle of loving, caring, and dedicated friends.

Jakobe’s spirit, laughter, and love will live on through each of us.
