  Born to parents John Wesley Willis Sr and Beulah Willis in Brooksville, Florida. John was introduced to Christ at an early age. He joined Mt Zion AME as a child, remaining a member for the duration of his life. John graduated from Moton High School and immediately entered the workforce as a technician for Sears where he would eventually retire. John had a deep rooted love for all things in nature. He took tremendous pride in his farm, contracting with well known companies such as Publix and Winn Dixie to bring the freshest produce and highest quality meats to the community for many years. He was preceded in death by children Juannita L Willis and David J Willis, parents, Beulah and John Willis Sr, brothers, Samuel Willis (Yvette) and Bernard Willis (Daisy). John leaves to cherish his memory one son, John Willis III, six daughters, Ebony Southall, Kelly Hinnant (Cory),Jacqulene Tarver (Gerald), Kristine Willis (Antonio), Johnetra (Mike) and Sharehea. Two brothers Calvin Willis and Frederick Willis, three sisters Erma Roache (Rick), Karen Roberts (Norman) and Arlene Franklin. Twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Flowers- Flowers may be received at the JT Campbell Funeral Home on Friday, March 1st from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Celebration of Life- The celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, March 2, at12 noon. Services to be held at Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, 8160 WPA Road Brooksville, Florida. (Mondon Hill)

Final Resting Place- Lang Memorial Cemetery
