Professional Career
Larry enlisted in the U. S. Army. After his separation from the U.S. Army, Larry moved to Troy, New York in 1970. He worked for Keller Roofing Company in New York where he retired.
Family Life
Larry leaves to cherish his life: his wife, Dorothy C. Payton; Jeffrey Nelson (Gail) and Tya Nelson of Schenectady, New York; Sheena Knolls; Velma Allen (Dwayne) of Troy, New York; Keith Burgess (Barbara) of Boston, Massachusetts; 19 grandchildren and 25 great grands; 2 daughters that proceeded him in death, Deborah Nelson and Alicia Claim; Godsisters, Nadine (Michael) Reddings and Yolanda Grice of Inverness, FL; 4 brother-n-laws, Herman Nelson of Troy, NY, David Parker (Chris) of St. Petersburg, FL, Greg Clark (Jennifer) of Inverness, FL, Eddie Clark Jr. (Renee) of Gainsville, FL; 1 sister-n-law, Phyllis Clark of Newark, NJ; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
