Lillian Hampton Obituary

Lillian Pearl Hampton, 78 Received her wings peacefully at home on Friday, March 19, 2021. 

In Way Cross, 

Lillian was born June 11, 1942 in Wadley Georgia, but was a lifelong resident of Long Beach, CA as well as Florida. She moved to Waycross, GA to be closer to her son and daughter. She was the daughter of the late Willie and Lillie Gaynor.  She received an AA degree in administration. She also received education in the nursing field and work for Kelley Services.  She enjoyed fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and was always the life at the party.  She had an extremely big heart. She gave her life to Jesus at a very early age and was active in the church.  One thing for sure she could sing, like no other.  Listen, she has probably take over the choir in heaven.   Her later years she attendant different churches.

She leaves behind many memories for all to cherish, son Clifford E. Gaynor, of Bushnell, Florida; her beautiful daughter, Crancena Gaynor Ross, Hanover, MD; Lovely Daughter, Tangela C. Watts, and her husband Nelson Watts, of Waycross, GA, son Tracey O. Scrivens, and wife Yolanda Scrivens, of Waycross, GA.

Memories will never be forgotten by her host of grandchildren. Grandson, Marquice Mills, Clarksville, TN,  Granddaughter-in-Law,  Brianna Hicks, Clarksville, TN, Her Granddaughter, Ebony Scrivens, Zephills, FL, Granddaughter, Nikita Gordon, Tampa, FL.  Granddaughter, Kyleisha Mills, Ellicott City, MD.  Grand daughter, Maria Garcia, Dade City, FL. Grandson, Ruben Garcia, Brooksville, FL.   Grandson, Rakeem Scrivens, Waycross, GA.  Grandson Alejandro R. Roach, Hanover, MD.  Grandson, Robert Frazier, Tampa, FL.  Granddaughter, Teyona Harvin, Valdosta, GA and Anthony Harvin, Tampa, FL.

Her great grandchildren have memories that will always remain in their heart, Great grandson, Alan Smith, Great Granddaughter, Diamond Smith, Great Grandson Charles Smith,  Great Grandson, Wendell Peterson, Great Granddaughter, Delmyiah, Great Grandson Andre Garcia, Great Granddaughter, Allison Garcia, GreatGrandaughter, Rr’myiah, Great Grandson Isaac, Great Grandson, Julius, Great Grandson Jermichael, Great Granddaughter, Jaliyah, Great Grandson Jeremiah, Great Granddaughter, Amaya, Great Granddaughter, Arayla, Great Grandson Gene, Jr, Great Grandson, Tyvaughn, Granddaughter, Crancena, Great Granddaughter, Dallas and Great Grandson Daron. Her brother Marcus Gaynor, Tampa Florida. Brother-in-law, Moses Scott, Athens, GA.  Host of nieces and nephews and other beautiful and loving family members to share her memories.  She also leaves behind her high school classmate and best friend Margret, from Brooksville, FL and Molly Douglass, Shrevport, LA 

She was proceed in death by her husband, Charles Hampton, Her Parents, Willie and Lillie Gaynor, Her Daughters, Chuntaa Johnson, and Villian Johnson, Her brother Ronald Gaynor, Brother,  Willie Gaynor, Jr., Her Sister Mary E. Moore,  sister Mary Scott. 

Flowers may be received at the JT Campbell funeral home on Thursday March 25th 2021 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitation- Thursday March 25th 2021from 5pm to 7pm

Funeral Cortege will form at the funeral home on Friday

March 26th 2021 at 11:15 am

Celebration of Life is Scheduled for Friday March 26th at 12 noon. Shiloh New Beginnings Missionary Baptist Church.

Interment- Florida National Cemetery Bushnell Florida at 2 p.m. on Friday March 26th 2021
