Sister Loretta Bailey Drake
Loretta was born on March 1, 1962 to the late Isaac Bailey Sr. and Johnnie Mae Bailey in Brooksville, Florida. She was the youngest of five silblings.
Loretta received her high school diploma in 1981 from Hernando County Adult Education. She worked for Northbrook Nursing Home in Brooksville, FL for 25 years.
She professed her life to Christ at a young age and served faithfully under several ministries; Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, Grace World Outreach Church, and presently at Good Samaritan Christian Fellowship Church (as youth leader & Benevolence Ministry).
Her love for the Lord was showed in her compassion for others. She enjoyed serving the Lord with all her might, body, and soul. One of her favorite things to do was studying the bible and sharing the good news with others. She loved her children, spending time with her grands, and fishing.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; Isaac Sr. and Johnnie Mae Bailey; one sister, Annette Jackson; and two brothers, Willie Sr. and Pastor Augustus Jackson.
Her beautiful life and memories will forever be cherished by the love of her life, a beloved husband of 42 years Mark Drake of Brooksville, FL; two sons, Anthony L. Bailey (Juana) and Ja'Corey E. Drake (Cher), both of Brooksville, FL; one daughter Patrice A. Drake of Brooksville, FL; one brother Isaac Bailey Jr. of Brooksville, FL; in law Annie and Sammuel Edwards Jr. of Ocala, FL; seven sister-in-laws, Patrice Bordrick (Derwin) of New Port Richey, FL; Pamela Williams of Zephyrhills, FL; Tonya Harris of San Antonio, TX; Serena (Jimmy) Araujo, Hempsted, NY; Sylvia Smith (Tracy) and Sonja Wooten (Michael) both of Montgomery, AL; Lealer Mason of Brooksville, FL; Cindy Jackson of Conyers, GA; six brother-in- laws, Sammie Edwards (Linda) CA; Garvin Edwards (Robbin) of Ocala, FL; Vernon Edwards of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Lamerrell Edwards (Lucy) of Humble, TX; Edward Stanley of Brooksville, FL; Corwin Bryant (Christal) of New Port Richey, FL; seven grandchildren, Adrain, Kamaryon (AKA "Her Booka Boo"), Na' Dashia (AKA " Her Nae") Ja'Corey, Jr. (AKA " Her Pretty Boy"), Anthony Jr., Amari, Jayceon (AKA "Her Peanut"), Nevaeh (AKA "Her Mommie/Rosa); one great grand Deasia (AKA " Tweety Bird"); five God children, Eric J Cooper Jr. of Leesburg, FL; Michael Taylor, Felicia Thomas, Devon Thomas all of Brooksville, FL, Shontae McRae (Wallace) of GA; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
