Luevenia Thompson was born March 28, 1953 in Brooksville, FL to Doris Mae Inmon and William Richardson. Leuvenia grew up and attended the local and public schools attending Moton High and graduating from Hernando High. It is on record that Luevenia is notated as a youth activist (Civil Rights Act of 1964, Desegregation of Hernando High School) during her early high school years.
Upon completion of high school, joyfully raising her children was a top priority, interacting with teachers and being a great support of their school activities. Accepting Christ as her personal Lord and Savior faithfully attending Ebenezer Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late K.E. Rogers. Her faith and trust in God sustained her through the years. Luevenia further loved hosting family events, cooking, singing and dressing like a movie star.
She was preceded in death by: her parents Doris Mae Inmon and William Richardson, her brother, Farrell Inmon and her sister Doris Lynn Inmon.
She leaves to cherish her memories, 2 sons, Leland Thompson of Riverview, FL, Andre Thompson of Brooksville, FL; 2 sisters, Cynthia Richardson, Brooksville, FL and Anetia Inmon-Blackwell, St. Petersburg, FL; 3 brothers, Bruce Inmon, Atlanta, GA, Michael Inmon, Panama City, FL and Derrick Richardson, Columbia, SC; 1 aunt, Celeste Newkirk, St. Petersburg, FL; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grand and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and sorrowing friends; a special friend (like a son) Brelow Willis.
Flowers - May Be received at The J.T.Campbell Funeral Home and Cremation Services Macedonia Chapel on Friday June 13th from 9 am to 3pm.
