Margie R. Black, was born on February 16, 1948 to Willard Douglas Treece and Willie Mae Sizemore Treece, in Scottsboro, Alabama. Margie passed away peacefully on January 22, 2023 at 9:35am in Brooksville, Florida.

In 1966 she married Walter Lee Black(deceased, 1994).  They resided in St. Petersburg, Florida then eventually moved to Brooksville, Florida. Margie is survived by her sons, Andrew L. Black, his wife Jody and Anthony T. Black and his wife Melissa. Margie adopted her 3^rd son, Zakaria M. Black in 2001. Margie is also survived by her step-daughter Sheralee Edgar. Her step-son Sterling Janacek passed away in 1998. Margie is also survived by her grandchildren, Shelby M. Black and Lincoln D. Black from Andy and Jody; Joseph Janacek and Stephanie Minton from Sterling Janacek; Jeremy Durocher and Zachary Durocher from Sheralee Edgar. She is survived by her sisters, Martha Jo Wood, and her husband Floyd Wood who Margie loved like a brother and Marilyn Wainwright. Margie is also survived by her 9 nieces and nephews.

Margie was a woman who loved her family with no limits. She had an open door policy for everyone. Margie was a unique woman who marched to her own beat. She truly was an original. She loved life and did her best to make the most of every day. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved her.
