Wilma C. Stonerock, age 91, of Spring Hill, Florida peacefully passed away on Tuesday June 10th, 2025.
She was born on April 7th, 1934 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Steve and Susan (Koschock) Derby and was one of 12 children.
Wilma was a devout Catholic and honored her faith by serving the clergy of Holy Rosary St. John and Christ the King Catholic Churches, for many decades.
She enjoyed many hobbies including playing cards, bowling, gardening and growing flowers, canning vegetables, and anything involving Nature.
She passed on her love and appreciation of Nature to her Family.
But, by far her most beloved pastime was hand crafting beautiful quilts for countless family members and friends, providing the love and warmth that emanated from her precious heart.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde B. Stonerock and daughters Debbie Sue Brown, and Elizabeth Ann Zilinski.
Survivors include her sons Michael and wife Twila Stonerock of Spring Hill, Florida, Gene Stonerock and partner Peggy Robbins, and Calvin Stonerock of Columbus, Ohio.
Also daughters Kim and husband Zeke Ferguson, and Pam and husband Earl Williams of Columbus, Ohio.
She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, brothers Ed Derby of Ceres, California, Jackie Derby of Stockport, Ohio and sisters Martha Waldron of Beverly, Ohio, and
Ruth and husband Lee Skinner of Lowell, Ohio.
She is also survived by countless friends, because Wilma has never met a stranger.
She will forever be remembered and cherished in the hearts of whomever was blessed to know her.
Her Love of Life and for Family and friends has touched the hearts of countless people, and her infectious laughter will continue to live on.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Wilma to be announced at a later date.
