It is with the deepest sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Nataria E. Sheppard aka “(Tott)” who left this world far too soon on October 9,2025 at the age of 20. Born on February 23, 2005, in Brooksville, FL. Nataria was a beacon of light, love, and joy, whose presence enriched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and community.
Nataria was kind-hearted, adventurous, creative, and she was known for making you smile, with her infectious laugh, artistic talent, and love for doing hair/nails and her ability to bring joy to those around her.
Nataria was a proud student at Hernando High School where she excelled academically and socially and finished c/o 2024. Nataria was loved by her teachers and friends. Nataria was a faithful and active member at Victorious Church of God by Faith where she grew up in the youth choir, and helping on the kitchen committee.
Nataria is survived by her Mother Gaynell Sheppard, “Special Dad” Latrey Tennison, her brothers Omarrion Reynolds, Lamar Tennison; sister Miracle Sheppard, grandparents Pauline Sheppard, Willie Sheppard(Karen); aunts Patricia Reese, Shereka Sheppard, bonus aunt Markeeta Sumerlin, uncles; Ollie Reese, and Roy McDowell(Erica), an extra special little cousin Eliakim “Deon” Reese, her god-parents Demitrius and La’Tonya Smiley; two special women friends Theresa Espinosa, and Gretchen Lee; a host of cousins, great- aunts and uncles and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Though Nataria’s time with us was far too brief, her impact was immeasurable. She taught us the importance of love, kindness, and living life to the fullest. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her legacy will live in our hearts.
So, we’ll say rest in peace to our sweet Nataria. You will be deeply missed, eternally loved, and forever remembered. Love you Tott- signed your family.
