Nora Lee Allen (Powell), age 77, of Homosassa Springs, Florida, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Tampa General Hospital in Crystal River, Florida.

Nora worked for many years as a Certified Nurse Assistant, dedicating her life to caring for others. Her kindness and gentle nature made a lasting impact on those she served and worked alongside.
On October 7, 1965, she married the love of her life, Carl “Butch” Frank Allen, Sr. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and enduring partnership.
Outside of her work, Nora found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful. She loved painting, gardening, solving sudoku puzzles, and searching for unique antiques. She was also known for her enthusiasm for shopping on Amazon, always finding something special for the people she loved. One of Nora’s greatest joys was teaching and spending time with her grandchildren, sharing lessons, laughter, and memories they will carry with them forever.
Nora will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family. Her home and heart were always open, and she had a special way of making those around her feel cared for and valued.
She is survived by her husband, Carl “Butch” Frank Allen, Sr.; her children, Kelly Lee Allen and Carl Frank Allen, Jr. (Annemarie); her grandchildren, Jay Edward Allen, Jr. (Emilee), Erin Nicole Ruse (Scott), Jesse Wade Allen and Ryland James Allen and her great-grandchildren, Emiliah, Samuel, Liv, Jaycee, and Ellie.
