Our Hearts are Heavy to announce the passing of Robert Glenn Rogers of Brooksville Fl

Obituary:

Robert Glenn Rogers was the son of the late Major and Mamie Lee Timmons Rogers.  He was born in Brooksville, FL November 23, 1944. Robert attended the Local Schools of Hernando County and was a graduate of The Moton High class of 1962. Robert Served in the United States Armed forces afterward he worked many years as a butcher for Safeway Stores in Washington,D.C. Robert Returned to Brooksville 20 years ago where he received excellent care from his Brother Deacon Charlie Rogers, Sister in law Annie Lee Rogers , Niece Eva Mobley and Nephew Rev Sonny Gill.

He was preceded in death by his brother Waiters and wife Willie Belle Holmes, brother Charlie Rogers and wife Annie(who were his caregivers), Nephews Tony and Walter Timmons, and Jerome Rogers. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Cedric Rogers of Raleigh North Carolina and one Daughter Stephanie Rogers of Alabama. A brother Walter Timmons and a loving aunt Marjorie L. Timmons Thomas. Neices Velma Holmes, Erma (John) Bennett and nephew Irvin Holmes; Rev. Sonny Gill (Fredricka) and Eva Mobley and other nieces , nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.

Arrangements are as follows.

Flowers may be received at The J.T.Campbell Funeral and Cremation Services on Friday March 20 from 9am to 3pm.

Viewing- There will be a Public viewing (With Restrictions "3 at a time") J.T. Campbell funeral home Macedonia Chapel on Saturday March 21st from 9 am to 10:30 am. 


A Private Graveside service will be held at The Spring Hill African American  Cemetery immediately following the viewing at the Funeral home. ( Immediate Family Only)

The Funeral Cortege will form at The Funeral Home at 1015 am for immediate family only.


Rev.Sonny Gill will officiate at the Cemetery
