Ronnie Geoffrey Edwards

On December 19, 2018, Ronnie Edwards slipped away and joined his loved ones in eternal rest and peace.

Ronnie was the son of the late Walter Edwards and Gloria Floyd Harris. He was born on October 19, 1949 in Crystal River FL. Ronnie attended and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Inverness, FL. Upon graduation, Ronnie joined the US Army from 1969-1971. His career highlights include years of dedication as a Service Manager and Boat Technician with Pro Line Boats; Julington Creek and Nobles Marine for several years before retiring.

Ronnie married Kenisher Rose Sawyer in 1997 and they resided in Crystal River, FL.

Ronnie is survived by his wife: Kenisher Rose (Sawyer) Edwards; Children: Laron Edwards of Tampa, FL, Patrick Edwards of Miami, FL, Veronica Edwards and Venisher Edwards of Gainesville, FL, Angelo Nelson, Shauntrell Nelson, and Justin Sawyer of Crystal River, FL.

Ronnie is also survived by his siblings: Joyce Baker, David Young (Loubertha), Louvenia Floyd, Sylvia Cleveland (Willie), Curtis Floyd (Catherine), Ira Baker, Gloria Bostic, Antonio Bostic (Natalie), Frankie Addison (Joe), Walter Edwards, Vicki Edwards, Peggy Edwards, Kelvine Edwards.. Ronnie also has nine additional step siblings from the Baker and Natteal union, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special friend and brother Strother Natteal (Coressa).

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Walter Edwards and Gloria Harris (Floyd), Stepfathers: SJ Natteal, Wilford Harris, Brothers: Roy Edwards, Richard Natteal, Robert Charles Hannah, and David Baker. Sisters: Vivian Catherine Baker, and Margaret Baker.

Family and Friends are requested to wear "Shades of Blue" for the Celebration of Life Service.

 At the request of Mrs. Edwards in lieu of flowers monetary contributions are to be made to: Kenisher Edwards-
