Tanesha Wynette Willis
March 14, 1972 – September 8, 2025
Tanesha Wynette Willis, affectionately known as “Nan,” was born on March 14, 1972, to the late Valerie Tucker and the late Samuel Willis Sr. in Brooksville, Florida. On September 8, 2025, she departed this life unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that will live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
A proud graduate of Hernando High School, Class of 1991, Tanesha devoted more than 20 years to the healthcare field. Her nurturing spirit, radiant smile, and joyful personality touched the lives of countless patients, co-workers, and friends.
She is survived by her devoted children: Daynea Langley (Harvey), Dayquond Taylor, and Daykiva Taylor; and her beloved grandchildren: Haleii, HaSani, Daymar and Nova. She also leaves to cherish her memory her nieces, Ahmajah, Nikia, AnDretti Jr, Abriel and Jaziyah; her siblings, Jakirra Harris, Richard Harris, and Andretti Willis Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Tanesha’s circle of love extended beyond family. She shared a special bond with lifelong friends who became like family: Sarah, Daymond, Brelow, Shay, and Darren.
Fun-loving, vibrant, and unapologetically herself, Tanesha was truly one of a kind. She loved spending time with her family, chatting for hours with her Cousin Kandi whom became like a sister, sending funny memes, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures—good food, music with her best friend Sarah, candles, singing, shopping, high-heeled shoes, and getting her hair and nails done. She delighted in looking and feeling her best, and her beauty—inside and out—was undeniable.
Though our hearts are broken, Tanesha’s light will never fade. She will be forever remembered, always cherished, and deeply loved by all who were blessed to know her.
